Tukey has become a brand all over the world in winter tourism. When it comes to winter tourism, the first location that comes to mind is Uludag. Uludag, as one of the indispensable locations in winter, is flooded with visitors every year.

Uludag, the highest mountain of the Marmara Region, is within the borders of Bursa province. This majestic 2543 meter-high mountain is a natural wonder and Turkey's largest winter and nature sports center. The mountain stretches in a northwest-southeast direction and spans an area of ​​40 kilometers. Its width is between 15 and 20 kilometers. Uludag, which can be clearly seen from afar, has a steep and majestic appearance. The slopes of this mountain facing Bursa are gradual, while the sides facing Orhaneli to the south are flat and steeper. It is possible to go to Uludag from the city center by car or telpher.

A hotel and a regular road were built in Uludag in 1933. With these developments, Uludag has been transformed into the heart of winter ski sports since this date. In addition, the start of regular bus services has further increased the interest here. Uludag can be easily reached from the surrounding provinces. Uludag's modern mountain facilities and Turkey's first telpher, which was put into service in 1963, have made Uludag indispensable for winter holidays.

Uludag, which is frequently preferred especially by Istanbulites for weekend holidays, welcomes visitors from all over the country and the world. Uludag, with its magnificent scenery and advanced ski facilities, also provides extensive camping and mountain hiking opportunities.

The high season in Uludag is between November and April. There may not be a room in the hotels, especially on weekends and holidays. You should not go without a reservation. During special days such as semesters, winter holidays, and New Year's Eve, the occupancy of hotels is quite high.

The hotels' area is on Kirazlı Plateau, at an altitude of 2000 meters. You can reach here by car or telpher.

Sarıalan region is used as a picnic spot, especially in summer. There is a camping area of ​​300 tents and 28 camp huts of the Ministry of Forestry. There is also a camping area in Çobankaya, which can be reached by a two-person chairlift from Sarıalan. Bakacak, right next to Çobankaya, is the best place to watch the Bursa plain and the city. Circus Lakes, at an altitude of 2300-2400 meters, offer views worth seeing.

In Uludag, the snow thickness usually approaches 2 meters. Ski areas are located at 1900-2500 meters. You can choose Uludag to sip your coffee and spend a wonderful winter holiday in white against the wonderful landscapes.
