Kenan Sofuoğlu, as the golden boy of the motorcycle world, is a motorcycle racer who has a lot of fans in our country and in the world. Kenan Sofuoğlu, a five-time Supersport World Champion, has proven to everyone how exciting and proud an unusual sport is. MotoGP is known as the most prestigious motorcycle race held worldwide. Races are held on tracks determined by the International Motorcycle Federation. There are classes in which 500cc, 250cc and 125cc engines compete. After 2002, the top classification took the MotoGP title. And Kenan Sofuoğlu continued to make everyone proud again in 2021. Personal Life

Kenan Sofuoğlu is the son of a motor mechanic father. Kenan was born in Akyazı as one of four brothers. He grew up idolizing his brothers, Bahattin and Sinan, who are motorcycle racers. Kenan Sofuoğlu's great passion and talent have been supported, and he has been allowed to participate in the race at the age of 16 with special permission. It is a good thing that he was allowed as he became an idol for Turkey's motorcycle lovers over the years. Kenan Sofuoğlu, married and has a child, lost his first son when he was two months old.

His Glorious Career

His older brother, Sinan Sofuoğlu, is also the first Turk to compete in the World Championship. While watching his older brother Sinan competing in the Turkish championship in 1996, he adopted him as his idol. When his brother broke his leg in a race, he won the races with his bike and won this first take-off race. He took the top three places with his brothers in the 2001 Balkan Motorcycle Track Championship. Completing this race in second place, Sofuoğlu settled in Germany in 2002. Bahattin Sofuoğlu, brother of Sofuoğlu, who won the Yamaha-Cup race the same year, died in a traffic accident in 2002. Another older brother, Sinan Sofuoğlu, died in a traffic accident in 2008. Even though Kenan Sofuoğlu was destroyed, he clings to life with his passion for motorcycles and made his brothers’ memory proud with his championships. Kenan, who was the Supersport champion in 2007, 2010, 2012, 2015, and 2016, has 43 wins, 85 podiums, and 34 pole positions during the period he competed. Sofuoğlu, who signed with Techomag CIP in 2010, became the first Turkish motorcyclist to compete in Moto 2, a motor racer who showed himself in Portugal and Spain races.
