Turkish Mega Pop Star Tarkan

Being one of the most prominent musicians in Turkey, Megastar Tarkan will always be remembered as one of the greatest musicians of Turkey. He always had successful album sales, and one of his songs always keeps playing in a Turkish person's head as every Turkish person has heard one of his songs. Despite being such a famous artist, life didn't treat him that well.

Tarkan started to struggle with misfortunes when he was still in his mother's womb. His mother had a traffic accident while he was still in his mother's womb. Although the doctors said that the child should be aborted in order not to endanger the mother's health, Tarkan was born somehow. Tarkan took his name after his mother's dream. He had a catastrophic accident when he was running after the horse carriage with his older brother. Doctors said, ''this kid will not live,'' but Tarkan again held on to life somehow. From his childhood, he was exposed to racism as he was a Turkish boy living in Germany. When he was just 15, his father had heart problems, and they left Germany to move to Turkey. Now that they are in Turkey, Tarkan still gets exposed to bullying because of his earrings and European manners.

In 1992, he released his first album ''Yine Sensiz''. Album sold 900.000 copies, and he suddenly became the center of the magazine world's attention. Since then, he is the center of attraction and has never lost it. There aren't many artists like Tarkan in Turkey as he may be the most known singer in Turkey. He gave concerts in Dubai, New York, Kopenhagen, Hamburg, Los Angeles. We can easily say he is one of the most known Turkish singers in the whole world too. He has 14 albums, including remix albums and EP's. Every one of his albums has made an impact nationwide. Needless to say, he had hits in all of them. There is one fun fact about Tarkan: He released the album named ''Metamorfoz'' in 2007, and DJ Tiesto produced the remix album of it.

Currently, Tarkan is making a new album. He is planning on releasing it in 2021. He is married to his long-time partner, Pınar Dilek for 5 years now and has 2 kids.
